The Clydesdales ended up getting together and chasing the dog down to reunite in the end. But then social distancing put a barrier between them once again. That’s where their new commercial, “Reunited With Buds,” comes into play.

She was rescued in the nick of time. Her organs had begun to shut down. As you can see from her face, she is in pain, weak and afraid. Every bone on her body painfully showed. Angel’s body wasn’t just shutting down but so was she. Being unloved and mistreated for this long had really broken her down. They saw positivity in their eyes and believed them when they told her that she is now loved and will be okay. And then… she stood up all on her own! Do you know how incredible that is?! With a steady diet and continued medical care, Angel gained weight. Her body was no longer weak. 

She looked so healthy and was beginning to understand what it meant to be a dog. She made friends at her foster home and then Angel received the best news possible– Angel found a forever home! While we do understand the desire to remain blissfully unaware of animal abuse is sometimes easier, it’s not the answer. 

When you love animals to the core, fighting for their well-being is truly the epitome of compassion. Getting stories out there, like Angel’s, is how rescue groups survive. They operate on donations from animal lovers like us. It’s not just about giving money. 

It’s also about sharing stories like Angel’s so people can see exactly what happens when rescuers do their job when they have the resources they need. After 3 days of being stuck in the same place, the horses couldn’t be saved. Fortunately, firemen and welfare workers were able to provide them all the basic necessities to help them survive. Even after the water level started to fall, the authorities weren’t still able to form a plan to rescue the horses. 

They were afraid of stepping in the water–making them enter it willingly was nearly impossible. It was then that they came up with an idea. First, a group of female riders and horses were going to ride into the shallow waters. With any luck, the horses that were stuck would soon follow them in because of their herd mentality. 

Everyone hoped for them to make it to the other side without any losses. But did they? Fortunately, the precious seconds have been captured in the video for us to watch even a decade later!

One particularly poignant moment in the video is when Marcelo thanks Mini for staying with him when he was sick, emphasizing the strong bond between them. 

He also acknowledges that Mini can no longer see but promises to help guide her, even carrying her to ensure her safety. This touching video, and letter to Mini, serve as a beautiful reminder of the special bond between kids and their pets. 

Marcelo, who once feared dogs, now looks to Mini as if she’s a sibling. Their favorite times together will be etched in the sweet boy’s heart forever.
