A fisherman caught a 67 pound goldfish named "The Carrot" in the Bluewater Lakes in Champagne, France. Andy Hackett, a 42-year-old fisherman from the U.K., said it took him 25 minutes to pull the giant orange fish out of the water. The 20-year-old female koi carp weighs in at a staggering 67.4 pounds. The Carrot was first put into the pond about 15 years ago and has been lurking the waters ever since. A spokesman for Bluewater Lakes told FTW Outdoors that she was added to the lake as something different for the anglers to try to catch. "I always knew The Carrot was in there but never thought I would catch it,"

A baby elephant cried heartbrokenly, his heart torn by being rejected by his mother. The creature that was meant to watch over him and keep an eye on him had abandoned him, and he couldn’t believe it. Rejection is a horrible feeling, and it gets more worse when it comes from someone close to you. This horrible event took place when a newborn elephant cried uncontrollably for hours since he couldn’t understand what was happening to his mother. Little Zhuang not only felt his mother’s disapproval, but she also made an attempt to hurt him, which was unusual for these creatures as they usually stay with their young until they are strong enough to defend themselves.

 

We’ve all seen horses capable of incredible feats. You name it: prancing, sidestepping – and jumping!

It was days before July 4 when fireworks started to go off in their neighborhood in South Carolina. Rajah, a lab-Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, was spooked by the sound of fireworks that she darted off outside and ran away.  They searched for her for hours. They even posted it on Facebook and asked people for help in case they find her.  The couple drove around the area, too, hoping to find Rajah at the side of the street. After hours of searching, they surrendered and went back home. It was a tiring night for Mary Lynn and Ryan, and they were hoping that tomorrow would be better.  Click to watch the video below:

Our dogs start to slow down a little as they get older, but we do everything make sure they are happy and comfortable in their twilight years.

A fox trapper and his friend were shooting a video about fox trapping tips. But at the end he suddenly got caught in his own fox trap. Each year, more than 4 million animals are trapped and killed for their fur in the United States. Millions more are trapped and killed in the name of “livestock” and “game” protection and for “nuisance” animal control. 

Remember the dog who was abandoned on the streets and the whole thing was captured by a surveillance camera?

The owner dropped him off on the side of the street and drove away while the dog begged him not to leave and ran after his car. The dog, named Snoop, is now happy again despite this very sad experience.

After being rescued by RSPCA, he got adopted by a kind person named Laurence Squire. He saw what happened to Snoop in the news and he was touched and heartbroken like everyone.(h/t: thedodo)

Dozens have been the request to adopt Snoop, and there was a rumor that Snoop Dogg himself wanted to adopt the poor dog, but Lawrence was the one who finally managed to bring him home.

One thing’s clear, Snoop is a very loyal dog. He’s now very happy and comfortable with his new family.  His new dad works at home so he’s being showered with a lot of attention and love. Snoop is now back to his energetic, playful, and loving self.
